  1.     Output  - Where and How                           FILE: FO.HLP

  3.     The output generated by DBK can be directed to one of three 
  4.     destinations. 
  5.                                                                 
  6.     LPT1 - The first and most common is the primary parallel port.  This 
  7.     is   the port that you should select if you have only one printer.  
  8.                                                                 
  9.     LPT2 - For those of you with a second printer, DBK can print to that 
  10.     one  just as easily.
  11.                                                                 
  12.     DISK - Disk files are also available if you want to get a quick look 
  13.     at   your status without grinding out a ream of paper.  The files 
  14.     written are  of the ASCII variety which means that any standard text 
  15.     editor or word    processor can read them.   The files are created 
  16.     with the same filename   as the .GLF file execpt that the extension 
  17.     is changed to .SUM.

  19.     Columns Required: 132                                                     
  20.                                                                 
  21.     Remember that DBK needs 132 columns of output for all reports.  This 
  22.     means that if you have a narrow carriage daisy wheel, you might have 
  23.     a problem. Almost all dot matrix printers have a condensed print 
  24.     mode which should   be adequate.   See the help screen under 
  25.     Features titled Utilities for    more info on sending condensing 
  26.     codes.
